preparatory course for individuals who want to implement asthma guidelines-based care and those qualified to take the National Board for Respiratory Care&#8217;s Asthma Educator Specialty (AE-C) Examination. The Asthma Educator Institute\u2122 was developed in January of 2003 and mirrors the National Institute of Health, Expert Panel Report 3: Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma. The course is also a great refresher for AE-C&#8217;s preparing for recertification.<\/p><p>NYSCAI offers a limited number of scholarships for the AEI course.
